PHANTASMAGORIA phantasmagoria is a place holder name bc i cant think of anything else? in the distance, there's an old looking manor, a decrepit looking building with no lights on. it barely seems to weather the storm, its age apparent from the way the rotting wood looks like it might cave in any moment. you have to go in though: you're being paid to be there. for the next week, you'll be living with a group of strangers in a supposedly haunted mansion. filming might have begun already, and the show is set to air during october for halloween. you can't really pass up that cash, so you might as well step in and get comfy. --- phantasmagoria is a short term mystery game set in the fang manor. it's been rumored to be haunted for years, and now a group of filmmakers are hiring some average (or not so average, they're not picky) joes to investigate as amateur ghost hunters. once there, characters will be sorted into rooms, introduced to each other, and try to sleuth their way out of the mansion and into a pile of good ol' fashioned greens. (not weed and not vegetables... probably.) the twist, of course, is that the manor is actually haunted. but who, exactly, is actually in the manor? while the game might seem similar to murdergames, it's not - there's no actual death in game. instead, the goal is to figure out the mystery of the manor, survive the ghouls and spooks of the night, and hold out for as long as possible. in essence, it's amnesia the dark descent done in the vein of the haunted mansion with a bit of reality televsion tossed in for good measure.
